Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, onsite special education role involves working with a severe caseload where students present with a blend of cognitive and physical disabilities—many are non-verbal, some are on the spectrum, and several require toileting assistance. The classrooms are designed for substantially separate instruction and supported with additional staff, including Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for some students.

What You'll Need:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Proven experience in substantially separate classroom settings strongly preferred
• Background working with severe and multiple disabilities (cognitive and physical)
• Comfort providing toileting support and addressing medical or personal care needs
• Skills supporting non-verbal and spectrum students, employing augmentative communication as needed
• Experience with specially designed instruction and applied behavior analysis (ABA)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work closely with RBTs and support staff
• Dedication to developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for a diverse student population

• Deliver individualized instruction rooted in IEP goals
• Utilize ABA principles to foster engagement and learning
• Support daily living and personal care needs with compassion and respect
• Adapt curriculum, materials, and classroom strategies to suit each student’s abilities
• Collaborate closely with support staff, therapists, and families
• Foster a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
