Tile worker

Your Job
A Tile Worker is responsible for installing tile on floors, walls, and other surfaces in residential and commercial settings. Duties include preparing surfaces, measuring and cutting tile, mixing and applying adhesives or mortar, setting tile in patterns, and grouting and finishing for a clean, durable result. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to use hand and power tools safely while following project plans and safety guidelines.

Your Day
Review project plans, layouts, and measurements Prepare work areas (cleaning, leveling, waterproofing surfaces) Measure, mark, and cut tile to fit specific spaces Mix and apply mortar or adhesive Set and align tile according to design and spacing requirements Install trim pieces and edge finishes Apply grout and clean excess from tile surfaces Inspect work for quality and make adjustments as needed Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean job site Follow safety procedures and coordinate with other trades on-site

Your Gain
Project-based employment. Most projects run 4 5 days per week. Overtime is available if earned. Jobs are located both inside and outside of Denver. Transportation is not required.

Your Experience
Entry-level workers must have 1+ year of construction or labor experience. Having your own tools is a plus. Advanced setters must have 2 4 years of hands-on experience, demonstrated on a resume.
