Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–5:15 PM (4x10s) | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | On-Call rotation required (6–8 calls per month, may include weekends)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room setting
• Scrub and/or circulate for a variety of surgical procedures including General, Trauma, Orthopedic, Vascular, Gynecology, Urology, Bariatrics, and Thoracic cases
• Assist with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• Accurately document patient care activities and surgical records using the Epic EMR system
• Participate in the on-call rotation, which may include weekend coverage (6–8 calls per month)
• Adhere to facility dress code and departmental policies throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience
• Proficiency with Epic EMR (required)
• Active ACLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Active BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Active Virginia RN State License or valid Compact License

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• Broad specialty OR experience across multiple service lines including Trauma, Orthopedic, Vascular, Gynecology, Urology, Bariatrics, and Thoracic surgery
