Internal Audit Manager
We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to support the expansion and transformation of a corporate audit function. This role will provide independent oversight of high-impact business areas and contribute to strengthening risk management, governance, and internal controls across the organization.
Position Overview
This is a newly created position designed to close existing gaps in audit coverage and bring additional visibility to key business functions. The Internal Audit Manager will conduct audits of corporate processes, offshore and international operations, and specialized business activities that represent a significant portion of overall volume. The role is critical in safeguarding assets, enhancing governance practices, and delivering insights that support strategic decision-making at the leadership level.
In addition, the Internal Audit Manager will actively contribute to the transformation of the audit function by helping to modernize methodologies, adopt risk-based approaches, and leverage technology to drive efficiency and value.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute audits of strategic corporate processes and functions.
Review international and offshore operations with a focus on financial, regulatory, and operational risks.
Support the implementation of updated audit methodologies, tools, and governance practices.
Provide objective findings and actionable recommendations to strengthen internal controls.
Collaborate with audit teams and business leaders to ensure effective, aligned audit coverage.
Qualifications
Proven experience in internal or external audit; background in financial services and/or insurance industries preferred.
Strong understanding of risk management, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and governance frameworks.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, or equivalent training in risk management or audit are a plus.
