Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU Experience Required

Location: Spotsylvania, VA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 3-12 hour shifts per week including every other weekend

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist with a focus on NICU care to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments to NICU patients
• Utilize advanced ventilatory support equipment including Hamilton C1 and V60
• Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status
• Perform procedures as needed for patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Meditech system

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2 years of general respiratory therapy experience
• NICU experience is required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP preferred (can be obtained after hire)
• Must possess RRT certification
