Physical Therapist – Per Diem - Inpatient RehabPhysical therapists at The Johns Hopkins Hospital have the autonomy to make individualized patient-centered decisions to promote optimal clinical care. This position works under the direct supervision of the Team Coordinator and/or Clinical Specialist, and leadership of the Rehab Therapy Services Team Leader and/or Inpatient or Outpatient Manager.Great Opportunity for New GraduatesJob Responsibilities:Uses objective evaluation techniques to assess the physical limitations and medical condition of patients who have neuromusculoskeletal and/or cardiopulmonary disabilitiesPrescribes and implements a treatment program that is designed to return patients to their maximum level of functionRotates through assigned areas of department or may have the opportunity to focus on one service areaCollaborates with all members of the multidisciplinary health care team to maximize patient and team outcomesPromotes improvement in service, department and hospital systems to benefit patient careIncorporates and operationalizes the goals and objectives of the Hospital at the site of careRequirements:Bachelor's, Master's or doctoral degree in physical therapyCurrently licensed as a physical therapist in the State of MarylandOne year experience preferredStrong written and verbal communicationProven clinical skillsAbility to transfer, position patients and lift up to 25 lbs.; able to perform physical assessments, walk and climb stairsMust have reliable transportation to work siteCPR certification requiredSalary Range: Minimum $55.00/hour - Maximum $55.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
