JOB TITLE: Inventory Clerk, at premium, fully cooked frozen food manufacturer, has an immediate opening for an Inventory Clerk. You'll work in a safe, high-end environment. In fact, this facility was recently named a top food production plant by Food Engineering Magazine. 2nd Shift 3:00 pm to 12:00 am Key Responsibilities Stock Monitoring & Recording: Tracking inventory levels, updating databases with new, moved, or deleted items, and preparing reports on trends or shortages. Inventory Auditing: Conducting regular, accurate physical stock counts and reconciling them with computer records to identify discrepancies. Logistics & Receiving: Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming products, as well as preparing outgoing shipments and returns. Organization & Safety: Maintaining a clean and organized storage area, ensuring proper storage, and following safety/loss prevention protocols. Required Skills and Qualifications Data Accuracy: High attention to detail with proficiency in inventory management systems, databases, and Microsoft Office. Analytical Abilities: Ability to investigate discrepancies and reconcile inventory. Physical Stamina: Capacity to lift, move, and count inventory in a warehouse setting. Communication: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to work with logistics and purchasing teams. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Associate degree or High school diploma. At least 1+ years’ experience in inventory control. Excellent math and analytical skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work overtime. Proficient MS office: Work, Excel.
