Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - West Des Moines, Iowa

This opportunity is for an Outpatient Pharmacist providing PRN coverage in West Des Moines, IA, from June 12 through July 31. This per diem position focuses on delivering excellent outpatient pharmacy services, including prescription verification and patient counseling, with a manageable volume averaging 40 prescriptions per day.


Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently in a low-volume outpatient setting
• Counsel patients regarding medication use, side effects, and adherence
• Perform typical outpatient pharmacy duties ensuring patient safety and satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Active Iowa Pharmacist License in good standing
• Previous pharmacist experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings
