Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Hybrid, Youngstown, OH

Pay: $25-$38/hour

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead recruiting efforts for hourly positions within a manufacturing environment. This long-term contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can move quickly, engage candidates effectively, and manage multiple openings while maintaining a detail-oriented hiring experience. The person in this role will support ongoing workforce needs by identifying talent with experience in production and operations teams and helping keep hiring activity organized and efficient.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end hiring for hourly manufacturing positions, from initial sourcing through offer coordination.

• Identify and engage candidates for plant and operations roles such as production staff, quality personnel, maintenance trades, and material handling team members.

• Create and manage job advertisements, maintain active candidate pipelines, and coordinate interview logistics with hiring teams.

• Conduct applicant screening and interviews to assess experience, availability, and fit for fast-paced industrial environments.

• Deliver a responsive and detail-oriented candidate experience by communicating clearly throughout each stage of the hiring process.

• Maintain accurate recruiting documentation, hiring records, and activity tracking to support reporting and workforce planning.

• Contribute to high-volume staffing efforts by balancing multiple requisitions and adjusting priorities as business needs change.

• Develop sourcing approaches that strengthen access to hourly talent with experience in the local and regional market.

• Associate degree or higher.
• Previous recruiting experience, preferably within manufacturing or another industrial setting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly or high-volume hiring needs.
• Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills across multiple recruiting channels.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly.
• High level of initiative, responsiveness, and follow-through in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to stay organized while handling multiple open roles and competing priorities.
