Assistant Moving Center Manager

Location 7710 Market St, Wilmington, North Carolina 28411, United States of America Position Overview U‑Haul Company is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee day‑to‑day center operations, manage staff, and ensure excellent customer service. Make moment‑to‑moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects. Manage and assign team members to ensure customers receive an exceptional first impression and high‑quality care. Perform miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers and other equipment. Participate in ongoing U‑Haul education through U‑Haul University. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Driver’s license with a clean driving record. Leadership experience in any form. Customer service experience. Ability to work a variety of shifts. Work Environment & Physical Demands Work involves moderate risks or discomforts requiring safety precautions such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields. Physical exertion may include remaining stationary for long periods, traveling outdoors, repositioning to use tools, and moving up to 50 lbs.
