Shift Details:

• 7:00 am-3:30 pm, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch period

• 40 hrs / week

Radiology Technician Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and portable radiographic procedures, including chest, bone, skull, and spine X-rays.

• Independently select exposure factors, position patients, operate equipment, and obtain quality diagnostic images.

• Review images for abnormalities and notify the Radiologist/referring Physician when additional views may be needed.

• Receive and schedule radiology requests, maintain exam records, logs, requisitions, and labels.

• Transmit, retrieve, prepare, and transport X-ray images/reports; scan results into BEMR.

• Perform equipment quality assurance, daily maintenance, calibration checks, and report repair/supply needs.

• Assist with patient flow, including vital signs, weight, and explaining procedures to reduce anxiety.

• Maintain radiation safety, universal precautions, and infection-control standards.

• Coordinate radiology records and communication between Radiologists and medical staff.

• Assist with inspections, program reviews, and other duties within the Radiology Technician scope.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Shall be fully licensed to perform radiological procedures by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.

• Active State License.

• Must have at least three or more years of experience

• Must be Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified, in accordance with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

• Additional certifications may be required.

• Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
