Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Radiology Technologist for a night shift weekend position at an acute care hospital in Richmond, VA, requiring ARRT (R) certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• 466-bed acute care hospital, main building Radiology department
• Procedures include all X-rays and general radiology procedures
• GE imaging equipment in use
• Meditech EMR system
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Friday through Sunday

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of radiology experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
• ARRT (R) and current BLS certifications required (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Active Virginia state license required if applicable
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)

Additional Information

• Perform general diagnostic X-rays and radiology procedures in an acute care hospital setting
• Steel gray scrubs required
