About This Role The Staff Nurse at Kaiser Permanente provides nursing care to a defined group of patients, ensuring adherence to health standards and policies. Highlights Pay: $44 - $81/hour Location: Tacoma, WA Facility: Kaiser Permanente Schedule: Full Time What You'll Do Provide ongoing assessment of nursing care needs for a defined group of patients. Develop a written plan of care based on nursing diagnosis and patient needs. Assist patients and families in developing health care goals as part of the care plan. Provide nursing interventions safely and competently. Offer telephone consultation to patients and families. Evaluate patients' responses to care and modify care plans as needed. Communicate patients' psychosocial, cultural, and emotional needs during interactions. Develop educational components for nursing care plans and provide teaching/counseling. Assess patient lifestyle risk factors and promote self-care responsibility. Participate in continued education programs and nursing research.
