Fundraising Volunteer Opportunity -10th Anniversary Gala

Overview Join us as we prepare for a milestone celebration! Healing Hands Inc. is seeking passionate and committed Fundraising Volunteers to support the planning and execution of the 2026 10th Anniversary Gala , a special evening honoring a decade of impact, resilience, and survivor-centered advocacy. About Healing Hands Inc. About Healing Hands Inc. Healing Hands is a survivor-led, culturally specific organization dedicated to supporting survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and trafficking, particularly within specific communities of color. We provide direct services, advocacy, crisis support, youth leadership development, empowerment programming, and community education in New York and beyond. About the Role The Fundraising Volunteer will work closely with the Gala Planning Committee to help secure financial support, sponsorships, and in-kind donations that will contribute to the success of this landmark event. Responsibilities Assist with outreach to potential sponsors, donors, and community partners Support follow-up communication (emails, calls, thank-you messages) Help with donor research and maintaining accurate records Contribute ideas for fundraising strategies, campaigns, and engagement Assist with event-day tasks related to donor relations and guest experience Participate in weekly planning meetings leading up to the gala Time Commitment Flexible weekly hours Must be available for in person and remote outreach What You Gain Hands-on experience in fundraising and event planning Skill-building in nonprofit development and donor engagement Networking opportunities with leaders, supporters, and partner organizations A chance to be part of a legacy event impacting survivors and whole communities Who We’re Looking For Organized and dependable team players Friendly communicators comfortable with outreach Individuals passionate about supporting survivors of DV, SA, and trafficking Volunteers who believe in the mission and want to contribute meaningfully Qualifications Age Minimum 18+ Application If you are ready to use your skills to help us celebrate 10 years of transformation and hope, we’d love to have you on our team! #J-18808-Ljbffr NYC Service
