We are interviewing candidates for our Emergency Room Nurse FSER opening. Responsibilities Coordinate and deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in accordance with departmental needs and professional nursing standards. Collaborate with medical providers and care team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans using established nursing models (Assess–Perform–Teach–Manage). Advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s vision, mission, and values. Assess patient pain and manage it, including reassessments after interventions. Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers. Document care administration accurately and promptly in the patient medical record. Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate and resolve patient needs proactively. Teach patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow‑up measures, translating complex terminology into understandable language. Instruct about non‑medicinal follow‑up measures such as healthy diet, exercise, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes. Prepare patients and families for future self‑management. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) license. Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 30 days of start date. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 90 days of start date. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 1 year of start date. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Instructor certification required within 6 months of start date.
