You Are You have built enough Anaplan models to know that the real work starts after go-live. You think in modules, lists, and data hubs. When someone describes a business problem, you are already mapping it to model structure in your head. You know when to optimize and when to rebuild, and you can explain the tradeoff to a finance lead without losing them in the technical weeds. Working across time zones does not faze you. You have collaborated with teams in different regions before and understand that good handoffs and clear documentation matter as much as being online at the same time. You do not wait for someone to tell you what needs fixing. You see the issue, trace it back, and solve it before it becomes a bigger problem. At Synopsys, you will support finance models that power planning and decision-making across a global company, and the stability you bring will matter every day. What You’ll Be Doing Serve as a core member of the Anaplan Center of Excellence, supporting and enhancing existing Finance Anaplan models including Financial Planning and Workforce Planning applications Troubleshoot production issues in real time, diagnose root causes, and implement fixes that ensure system stability and data integrity Collaborate with the Model System Administrator and the Anaplan COE team in India to resolve bugs, build enhancements, and manage testing cycles before pushing changes to production Maintain data governance frameworks and model access controls across all Finance Anaplan models, ensuring compliance and integrity throughout integrations Partner with Data Integration teams to architect and optimize integrations between Anaplan and enterprise systems including SAP, Workday, and FP&A reporting platforms Work directly with business users to support data reconciliation, document processes, deliver training, and design new models that meet evolving business requirements Own the full lifecycle of model enhancements from requirements gathering through testing, deployment, and post‑launch support The Impact You Will Have Keep critical Finance planning models stable and performant, ensuring finance teams can rely on the platform for decision‑making without disruption Reduce time to resolution for production issues through proactive monitoring, clear documentation, and fast diagnosis Improve model performance and scalability by identifying optimization opportunities and implementing architectural improvements before they become bottlenecks Strengthen data quality and governance across Finance systems by maintaining consistent access controls and integration standards Enable faster adoption of new planning capabilities by designing models that are intuitive, well‑documented, and aligned to how finance teams actually work Build trust across global teams by delivering reliable handoffs, clear communication, and consistent follow‑through across time zones Expand the capability of the Anaplan COE by sharing knowledge, building reusable components, and establishing best practices that scale What You’ll Need 4+ years of hands‑on experience in Anaplan model building and solution design Anaplan Level 3 Model Builder certification or Anaplan Certified Solution Architect credential Strong working knowledge of Anaplan architecture including module design, list structures, data hubs, and performance optimization techniques Solid understanding of enterprise system architecture and integration patterns, particularly with SAP, Workday, or similar ERP platforms Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, especially when resolving production issues or responding to urgent user queries Flexibility to collaborate across time zones, particularly with team members in India Hands‑on experience with Financial Planning or Workforce Planning models is a strong plus Who You Are You can walk into a broken model, trace the issue back through integrations and formulas, and explain what happened in terms a finance manager will understand You are comfortable saying no when a request will create technical debt, and you can offer a better path forward without sounding like you are blocking progress You have worked with teams in other regions before and know how to write a handoff note that actually helps someone pick up where you left off You take ownership beyond your defined responsibilities, if a task needs doing and you can help, you step in without waiting for someone to assign it You treat documentation and testing as part of the build, not something you do if there is time left over The Team You’ll Be Part Of This role will sit within the Anaplan Center of Excellence (CoE). The CoE includes model builders based in India and a US‑based (remote) operations manager. In this position, you will work closely with the Finance Operations leader and Finance systems administrators to collaborate, align priorities, and drive execution.
