Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our team. The successful candidate must start as soon as possible and will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests to help diagnose and treat patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests in Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Blood Bank, and Gram Stains.
• Operate laboratory equipment including Sysmex XN-1000, Siemens CA-660, Siemens Dimension EXL, and Ortho manual gel.
• Ensure quality control and accuracy of test results.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and work area in compliance with safety standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess MLT(ASCP), MLT (AMT), MLS(ASCP) or MLS(AMT) certification.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
• Experience with relevant laboratory systems and software, specifically MEDHOST / AS-400.
• Travelers must be greater than 50 miles from the facility.
