Respiratory Therapist (RT) – Per Diem Contract
Facility: Encompass Health – The Quad Cities Rehabilitation Institute
Location: Moline, IL
Address: 2210 52nd Ave, Moline, IL 61265
Duration: June 26 – July 15
Schedule: Per Diem / Block Scheduling Available
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
Pay Rate: $40/hr
The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care services to patients in a rehabilitation hospital setting. Responsibilities include assessing respiratory status, administering oxygen therapy, managing ventilators (if applicable), performing breathing treatments, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary rehab team to support patient recovery.
RequirementsActive Respiratory Therapist (RT) license in Illinois (Required)
Experience in acute care, rehab, or hospital-based respiratory therapy
Ability to manage oxygen therapy and respiratory treatments
Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
Comfortable working daytime inpatient rehab schedule
Active RRT or CRT credential (as applicable by state/facility policy)
BLS Certification (Required)
ACLS preferred depending on patient acuity
Illinois state RT license (Required)
Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital
Part of Encompass Health system
Interdisciplinary rehab environment (PT, OT, Speech, RT)
Day shift staffing model (Mon–Fri schedule)
Block scheduling available
