Nurse Manager BHU - Registered Nurse (RN), Psychiatric / Behavior Health

Minden Medical Center is looking for a well-organized Nurse Manager for our BHU Department.

The ideal candidates will have the ability to interact in a positive and compassionate manner with patients, co-workers, physician's and supervisors.

Preferred knowledge, skills, and/or experience required:

Education: Registered Nurse for at least 5 years with a minimum of 3 years of clinical psychiatric/mental health nursing care past working experience minimum, with MSN oversight.

License: RN License through the Louisiana state board of nursing

Experience: 3-years management in mental health nursing

Current RN License with the Louisiana State Board of Nursing and CPR required; 5 years of nursing experience required, 3 years of geriatric or psychiatric experience required. 3 Years management in mental health nursing preferred. CPI certification within 6 months of employment required
