Commercial Leasing Specialist

Company Description: Silicon Valley Construction Services (SVCS) is seeking an experienced Commercial Leasing Specialist to support leasing operations for a commercial office property located in San Leandro, California .

We are looking for a motivated professional with experience in commercial leasing, tenant acquisition, business development, and relationship management. The successful candidate will play an important role in increasing occupancy by identifying qualified tenants, marketing available office spaces, and guiding prospects through the leasing process.

Role Description

This is a Hybrid, Full-Time opportunity.

The Commercial Leasing Specialist will be responsible for managing the leasing process from prospecting to lease execution. The role includes generating qualified leads, marketing available office suites and parking spaces, responding to enquiries, conducting property tours, following up with prospective tenants, supporting lease negotiations, and maintaining accurate leasing records.

The successful candidate should be comfortable building relationships with business owners, understanding client needs, and converting qualified prospects into signed lease agreements while delivering excellent customer service throughout the leasing journey.

Responsibilities

• Generate qualified tenant leads for available commercial office suites.
• Market commercial office spaces and parking availability.
• Identify and prospect potential tenants.
• Respond to leasing enquiries professionally and promptly.
• Conduct property tours and explain available leasing options.
• Build strong relationships with prospective tenants and business owners.
• Support lease negotiations and documentation.
• Follow up with prospective tenants throughout the leasing process.
• Convert qualified leads into signed lease agreements.
• Maintain accurate leasing activity records and reports.
• Work closely with management to achieve occupancy and leasing goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Commercial Leasing, Commercial Real Estate, Property Leasing, Business Development, or a related field.
• Proven experience generating tenant leads and closing leasing opportunities.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent relationship-building and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace is an advantage.
• A background in Commercial Real Estate, Property Management, Sales, or Business Development is highly preferred.

Compensation

This is a performance-based opportunity .

Successful candidates will earn one month's rent for each successfully leased unit , with compensation discussed further during the recruitment process.
