Parent Coach (Home Visitor) (Full-time/part time) (Bilingual) (Multiple Openings)

Job Purpose Maintain an open, friendly, professional relationship with all staff, families, and community partners Provide 60‑90‑minute home visits that focus on education, health and wellness, family systems, goal setting, and community resources Collaborate with community organizations, institutions, and schools to support families by meeting the family where they are Position requires a strong understanding of data processes, including maintaining performance standards and remaining in compliance with funding requirements for core competencies, assessments, and content areas. Training will be provided, but candidates must present a strength for managing data, navigating multiple systems, and processing data within the provided timelines Responsibilities Attend a five‑day Parents as Teachers training and a two‑day Partners for a Healthy Baby – must remain certified while employed Complete weekly, 60‑90 minute, highly individualized, strengths‑based home visits using the Parents As Teachers curriculum and model Assist with facilitating playgroups (bimonthly) Administer developmental and family wellness screenings using approved tools Recruit and retain home‑visiting families with a caseload of clients Meet the requirements of all funding sources Attend all staff events and ongoing professional learning Maintain and properly submit comprehensive written SOAP notes and electronic records, including up‑to‑date contact information, visit records, and family goals as required by federal/state guidelines and administrative regulation (weekly) Provide program parents with guidance on home safety, nutrition, family development, conscious parenting, constructive play activities, and related topics Provide information on community and agency services, and give families resources and referrals to medical, mental health providers, and additional interagency networks as needed Commit to the mission of Front Porch Alliance Provide support at quarterly community events Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree, CDA or equivalent experience Required: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, CDA OR 3‑4 years in a relevant field Preferred: Bachelor or higher in Education, Social Work, or a similar field 3 years of experience working with Early Childhood Programs and children from birth to age five Strong computer and technology skills, including Google Suites, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Highest ethical standards and responsibility with confidential information Excellent interpersonal skills necessary for good communication with culturally diverse participants, partners, and supporters Positive, effective, and professional working relationships with staff, clients, and community partners Committed to ongoing professional development of best practices surrounding the strength‑based approach to families, parenting behaviors, child health and wellness, and other relevant family‑centered practices Outstanding time management, organizational skills, and follow‑through Capacity to problem‑solve, handle crises, and work with families and children Must have a reliable car, valid driver’s license, auto liability insurance of at least $100,000, and good driving record Parent Coach will travel to various locations and go in and out of private homes to provide services to parents and children Must be able to lift five to ten pounds regularly Fluency in Spanish is a plus Hours: Full‑time. Some evenings and Saturdays are required. For full time position must be available between 8:30 am and 6:30 pm. For part time position, must be available 2:30 pm‑6:30 pm and some weekends 9 am‑12 pm.
