Senior Baseline Configuration Lead

Salary: $86,800 - 165,200 per year Requirements:

• We typically require a STEM degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, unless local laws or regulations prevent this.
• We need experience with version control tools and baseline management practices, such as IBM Rational ClearCase or Git.
• We require experience with object-oriented programming languages, such as C++ and/or Java.
• We require an active, transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance before the start date.
• We require U.S. citizenship, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• We oversee the software release process and ensure it stays aligned with program schedules and PI objectives.
• We act as the primary communication hub for release-related activities across teams and stakeholders.
• We maintain accurate baselines and version control for software artifacts, configurations, and documentation.
• We facilitate baseline creation and management across the program, including mock installs, to preserve traceability and consistency.
• We review changes to ensure they are documented, approved, and integrated into the baseline in a controlled way.
• We drive the development of software release packages.
• We prepare release documentation and lead formal handover meetings.
• We provide Tier 1 reach-back support for site-specific software issues.
