Job Title

Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Ortho Trauma Unit)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed Ortho Trauma / Medical Surgical unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Operate and monitor Baxter IV pumps and Welch Allyn vital signs machines
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Perform ambulation of patients and wound care as needed
• Collaborate with a team of RNs, LVNs, and PCTs across night shift
• Float to sister units such as Surgical Telemetry or Inpatient Rehab as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience
• Preceptor experience
