Contract | Days | Variable schedule alternating between 3×12-hour shifts one week and 2×12-hour shifts the following week, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM; every other weekend required; no call; floating as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting, ensuring safe and effective nursing practice
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and outcomes
• Float to other units as needed to support staffing requirements
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and interventions
• Adhere to facility policies, compliance standards, and patient safety protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid California RN license (uploaded to Nursys within the last 2 weeks)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• NIHSS certification required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate; local candidates are accepted at a local rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical unit within an acute care environment
• Comfort with floating to various units as needed
• Experience working variable schedules including weekend rotations
