Data Consultant

Job Title: Data Consultant - Banking & Financial Services Location: Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Dallas Employment Type: Full-Time Role Summary We are looking for a Data Consultant with strong banking domain expertise and proven experience in management/technology consulting environments . The role will focus on translating business problems in banking and financial services into data-driven solutions, working closely with senior stakeholders, product teams, and engineering partners. Key Responsibilities Partner with business and client stakeholders to understand banking use cases across Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Risk, Compliance, or Capital Markets Lead data-driven consulting engagements, including problem definition, solution design, and value realization Translate business requirements into analytics, reporting, and data platform requirements Work with data engineering and analytics teams to deliver end-to-end solutions Develop business cases, decks, and executive-ready insights for leadership and client presentations Support data strategy initiatives including data governance, quality, lineage, and operating models Drive adoption of analytics solutions by aligning them to business KPIs and outcomes Required Skills & Experience 10+ years of overall experience with strong exposure to Banking / Financial Services Prior experience in consulting firms or consulting roles (Big 4, Tier-1/Tier-2 consulting, or internal consulting teams) Strong understanding of banking functions such as Wealth Management, Retail Banking, Risk & Compliance, AML, Reporting, or Data Governance Hands‑on experience working with data platforms, analytics solutions, and BI tools Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders Strong documentation, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills Preferred / Nice to Have Exposure to cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Knowledge of regulatory reporting and data controls Experience with Agile delivery models #J-18808-Ljbffr The Value Maximizer
