Proman Skilled Trades is currently seeking experienced Mechanical Insulators for commercial HVAC projects in the Houston area.

Job Responsibilities:

• I nstall insulation on piping, ductwork, chillers, and other mechanical systems.
• Measure, cut, and fit insulation materials according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Install and secure metal jacketing, vapor barriers, and protective coverings.
• Work with fiberglass, foam, rubber, mineral wool, and other insulation materials.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience of as a Mechanical Insulator preferred.
• Ability to read tape measures and perform basic math calculations.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to work from ladders, scaffolds, and lifts.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
