Why join us Competitive salary Health Insurance Retirement Plan Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Professional Development Opportunities Opportunity to contribute directly to company growth through accurate, competitive estimating on key asphalt and roadway projects Job Details / Responsibilities Review plans, specifications, contracts, and project documents to determine project scope and requirements Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for asphalt paving, milling, reclamation, grading, aggregate base, and related roadway and site improvement activities Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates including labor, equipment, materials, trucking, subcontractors, and indirect project costs Develop conceptual, budgetary, negotiated, and hard bid estimates Analyze project risks, opportunities, exclusions, and constructability concerns during the asphalt estimating process Evaluate production rates, crew requirements, equipment utilization, and material quantities to develop accurate pricing Analyze historical project data and production information to improve estimate accuracy and consistency Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of asphalt estimating, paving, grading, or roadway construction experience Previous experience with asphalt paving operations, materials, and production methods preferred Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, contracts, and technical documents Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
