Machine Operator-1st shift

Location: Saratoga Springs, NY Pay Rate: $19/hour Schedule: MondayFriday, 7am-3:00pm

Position Summary: The Operator is responsible for safely operating equipment to process materials efficiently while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and cleanliness standards. This role plays a key part in meeting production goals and ensuring a well-organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the equipment in a safe and efficient manner, strictly following all operating instructions and ensuring all safety locking mechanisms are engaged before use.
• Maintain a safe working distance from the machine at all times, keeping hands, tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE) clear of moving parts.
• Accurately record processed materials on required forms and ensure all documentation is completed and updated daily.
• Meet or exceed the minimum production goal of 7 bales per hour as part of a team.
• Immediately report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to the Site Manager and Baler Technician Manager.
• Communicate any safety concerns promptly to the Site Manager or Shift Lead.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain a sanitary work environment.
• Keep warehouse and work areas clean and organized at all times ("clean as you go" approach).
• Adhere to all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SQF (Safe Quality Food) requirements.
