Account Executive

Zeal is a rapidly growing transportation and logistics company providing truckload, refrigerated, flatbed, heavy haul, bulk, trade show, drayage, expedited, and specialized transportation solutions across North America.

We are not looking for order takers.

We are looking for hunters who want to build a book of business, own customer relationships, and be part of a company that is scaling aggressively.

What You'll Do

• Prospect and develop new shipper relationships through phone, email, LinkedIn, networking, and referrals

• Build and manage a book of business across multiple industries including food and beverage, manufacturing, aerospace, retail, industrial, and defense

• Conduct customer meetings both virtually and in person

• Negotiate rates and transportation solutions with customers

• Partner closely with our Account Management and Carrier Operations teams to ensure exceptional execution

• Identify opportunities for additional services including reefer, dry van, flatbed, specialized, trade show, and expedited freight

• Consistently exceed sales activity and revenue goals

What Success Looks Like

Within 90 Days:

• Active pipeline built and generating opportunities

• Customer meetings scheduled weekly

• First customers onboarded

Within 12 Months:

• Strong book of business generating recurring freight

• Trusted advisor to your customers

• Significant commission earnings tied directly to performance

What We're Looking For

Must Have

• 2+ years of B2B sales experience

• Strong phone presence and communication skills

• Competitive mindset

• Self motivated and accountable

• Ability to handle rejection and maintain consistent activity

• Experience using CRM systems

Preferred

• Freight brokerage experience

• Existing shipper relationships

• Experience selling transportation, logistics, supply chain, SaaS, staffing, or industrial services

• Proven track record of exceeding quotas
