Dick Van Dyke Inc. is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of our company—working directly with customers, learning our products and services, and helping deliver an exceptional in-store experience. We provide training on all products, services, and company policies to set you up for success. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, and takes pride in maintaining a professional, welcoming store environment.

Sales Associate Compensation

Dick Van Dyke Inc. allows the Sales Associate to choose between two methods of pay while starting out.

• Base Salary: $32,000 for the first 12 months of employment + 7% commission

(OR)

• Straight 14% commission + training pay of $5400.00 over a span of 12 weeks

Sales Associate Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service
• Answer customer questions and engage them with merchandise
• Guide customers to appropriate products and services within the store
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Actively seek out and assist customers on the sales floor
• Maintain strong product knowledge and stay informed on new offerings
• Contribute to departmental sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
• Handle customer concerns professionally and partner with the customer service team to resolve issues
• Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing store floor, including displays and merchandise

Sales Associate Qualifications

• Proven success in sales or customer-facing roles
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Personable, friendly, and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Understanding of basic sales principles
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
