Registered Nurse - Operating Room Responsibilities:

• Full-time, permanent role (80 hours biweekly); call required.
• Assess patients' needs through history, observation, physical exams, and diagnostic data analysis.
• Administer nursing interventions according to the Plan of Care, following standards of practice and physician-prescribed medical plans.
• Perform hourly rounds, maintaining service excellence standards.
• Cultivate an environment of compassion, care, and respect for patients, families, and visitors.
• Support departmental growth and performance, participating in hospital-wide initiatives and utilizing evidence-based practices.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Valid South Carolina or multi-state RN license (compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Operating Room.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, with additional certifications as required by the unit.
