Temporary-Art Teacher Salary: Long Term Substitute (Greater than 30 days) with BS/BA $20.00 per hour. Certified Teacher (serving as Teacher-of-Record) $22.00 per hour (or per the 2026-2027 Salary Schedule) (or per the 2026 - 2027 Salary Schedule)
Replaces: Chelsey Howell (Maternity Leave) This position is currently advertised as a temporary position to begin August 10, 2026 and with an anticipated end date of October 16, 2026. Continued employment after the end date is not guaranteed and would be contingent upon the circumstances surrounding the need for a temporary role at that time. A successful candidate for this position will be able to apply for other positions with the District at or before the conclusion of this position. Depending on the actual duration of employment, the successful candidate may not be eligible for all benefits provided to a permanent employee. Qualifications:
(1) Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution.
(2) Satisfactory criminal background check. Note: Beginning January 1, 2026, new hires must be screened through the Clearinghouse (information on the Clearinghouse is available at )
