Location: Elk Grove Village, IL 60007
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr
Shift: 1st Shift
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will ensure products meet quality standards before shipment by performing inspections, verifying measurements, reviewing blueprints, and supporting quality documentation processes.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and measure materials/products
- Monitor production processes and recommend adjustments when needed
- Accept/reject finished goods and quarantine non-conforming materials
- Complete and maintain quality documentation
- Communicate inspection findings with Production and Quality teams
- Support calibration activities and maintain inspection records
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of Quality Inspector experience preferred
- Manufacturing experience required/preferred
- Ability to read tape measures and convert fractions to decimals
- Experience using measuring tools and reading blueprints
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Knowledge of ISO standards is a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Must wear steel-toed shoes and safety glasses
