Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as General Production Workers. We have four openings available from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and one opening from Sunday to Thursday, 7:30 pm to 4:00 am.

Responsibilities

• Load cheese for packaging machines onto conveyors.
• Remove cheese from brine cages.
• Stack cheese boxes on pallets neatly, ensuring they fit into cooler racks without damage.
• Construct boxes and pack products in boxes.
• Remove packaging material from rejected cheese and prepare cheese for repackaging.
• Inspect product and packaging for foreign material and imperfections; segregate suspect product as needed.
• Rerun products through metal detector and document vat number if unacceptable; inform supervisor.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain plant equipment.
• Maintain work areas in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Assist in other production areas and train new personnel as required.
• Minimize water usage and generation of wastewater.
• Follow all safety, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.

• General labor and production skills.
• Basic math skills: adding, subtracting, and multiplying.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Capability to carry out instructions.
• Experience with machine operation, packaging, inspection, and assembly.
• Familiarity with hand tools and tape measures.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Capability to perform labor and lifting tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Wilmington, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.04 - $23.09/hr.
