Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid state certification in Special Education
• Previous experience serving as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting strongly preferred
• Deep understanding of IEPs and experience developing and implementing individualized instruction plans
• Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational abilities and adaptability to adjust to evolving student needs
• Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver differentiated lessons that accommodate a variety of learning styles
• Assess student skills and progress to guide instructional decisions and modify strategies
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to support integrated programming
• Maintain accurate records, including IEP documentation and reporting
