Pay: $17.00 per hour Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours/week

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Gatehouse Security Officer to manage access control at a critical entry point. This position is responsible for monitoring and controlling all inbound and outbound traffic while maintaining a secure and professional presence.

This is a high-responsibility post where awareness, communication, and consistency are key. The officer will serve as the first line of defense for the property during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Control access at the main entry gate, verifying credentials for all residents, visitors, and vendors

• Maintain accurate logs of all entries and exits

• Monitor for suspicious activity and report incidents promptly

• Maintain strong situational awareness at all times

• Communicate clearly and effectively via radio with the control room and shift supervisor

• Enforce site policies and procedures with professionalism

• Provide directions and assistance to authorized visitors when needed

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow access control procedures

• Clear and professional communication skills (radio and in-person)

• Ability to remain alert and focused during overnight hours

• Prior security or gatehouse experience preferred

• Reliable transportation and a strong attendance record required
