This includes providing direct patient care, assessing medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and potential for rehabilitation. The PT will establish and administer treatment programs with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician. The PT must set realistic and achievable goals, document and record patient condition, and educate patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods.
