Staff Accountant

They are looking for a Staff Accountant that is ready to grow. You'll work closely with the Assistant Controller and Lead Accountant, owning core accounting functions that free up senior leadership to focus on strategy, forecasting, and analysis, which means real exposure to how the business runs financially, not just data entry. What You’ll Do Prepare recurring and general month-end journal entries. Prepare and reconcile financial schedules monthly, quarterly, and annually. Review and post weekly accounts payable batches. Review the general ledger for accuracy and correct as needed. Perform monthly bank reconciliations and deposits across multiple cash accounts. Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts. Prepare and file state and local sales and use taxes. P repare annual personal property tax returns and other required filings. Support annual audits and external tax accountants with schedules and reconciliations. Research accounting and financial questions and contribute to financial decision-making. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. CPA preferred, not required. 2+ years of accounting experience Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft complex correspondence and interpret financial reports and business memos. Solid business math and accounting skills with a sharp eye for detail and accuracy. This is a genuine growth seat inside a stable, multinational company.
