Communications Coordinator

The Communications Coordinator supports the founder and executives in providing social media content, marketing materials, event planning, and PR for Rancho San Gregorio and its resident startups. Details $25+ per hour (largely DOE) Applicants must be comfortable commuting to our location in San Gregorio, CA, a minimum of 3 days a week Responsibilities Create and manage social media content across multiple platforms to promote company initiatives, products, and events. Research and write press releases, blog posts, newsletters, and other editorial content. Produce written, graphic, and video content for company websites, grant proposals, and fundraising campaigns. Coordinate and arrange press conferences, and publish articles through appropriate media channels. Plan, organize, and host events, including promotional and community engagement activities. Follow the company style guide to ensure all communications are consistent, high-quality, and error-free. Conduct regular quality reviews of internal and external communications, branding, and operational protocols. Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, journalists, and media outlets, while identifying opportunities for media exposure. Engage with the public and stakeholders to strengthen brand visibility and reputation. Support and facilitate diversity, inclusion, and community service initiatives both internally and externally. Develop and implement SEO optimization strategies to improve the company’s search engine rankings. Promote products, career opportunities, company events, and organizational values through marketing and communications efforts. Represent the company through occasional travel to expos, conferences, and industry events. Perform administrative duties as necessary Preferred Experience Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, videography, film, or a related field (not required) Demonstrated videography experience including knowledge of post-production techniques Social media strategy and algorithms A portfolio of work available for review #J-18808-Ljbffr Rancho San Gregorio
