TIG WelderDoherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a custom metal fabrication and manufacturing company in Detroit Lakes, MN to hire a TIG Welder. In this role, you'll work with stainless steel components and complex fabricated assemblies while producing high-quality products that meet engineering and quality standards. If you enjoy hands-on fabrication work, blueprint reading, and working independently in a professional manufacturing environment, this could be a great opportunity for you.What You’ll Do as a TIG Welder:Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components in multiple welding positionsLayout, fit, and assemble materials according to blueprints and engineering drawingsSet up and adjust welding equipment for various material thicknesses and alloysInspect and maintain weld quality, consistency, and compliance with specificationsMove and position materials using forklifts and hoists as neededOperate hand and power tools used in metal fabrication processesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following PPE and safety requirementsWhat You Need to Bring to the TIG Welder Role:Minimum of 2 years of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specificationsKnowledge of welding positions, base materials, joint design, and welding proceduresAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong math, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds regularlyExperience operating forklifts, hoists, and material handling equipment preferredTechnical school welding certificate preferredPrevious leadership or team lead experience is a plusReliable transportation and ability to commute to Detroit Lakes, MNWhy You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing SolutionsEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
