Job Summary
Wausau, Wisconsin Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) is needed for a 13-week contract at the organizations outpatient facility. The role involves evaluating, treating, and planning patient care for adult and geriatric populations with a variety of orthopedic, neurological, and functional mobility diagnoses, following Physical Therapy standards of practice.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy, licensure for the State of Wisconsin, BLS certification, NPI number (candidate may need to initiate application process), and travel experience. The minimum experience required is 0 years, with preferred home health experience working with adult and geriatric patients.
• Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour days, with every other Friday off. During weeks with a Friday off, an additional day off will be scheduled midweek.
• Additional Information:
  Evaluates, treats, and plans patient care in accordance with Physical Therapy standards of practice. Population served includes adult and geriatric patients. Documents to meet regulatory and reimbursement requirements. Meets productivity expectations of an average of 4.5 visits per day. Scrub colors are flexible or business casual. The contract is eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours, with potential for on-call hours that count toward these unbillable hours. During flu season, unvaccinated travelers are required to wear masks at all times as per policy. Travelers may be placed on call for low census hours, with callback minimum of 2 hours.
