Emergency Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary ZoomCare Super is seeking an Emergency Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. The role focuses on delivering advanced emergency care and superior customer service within the ZoomCare model. The clinic is staffed with board‑certified emergency physicians and equipped with X‑Ray, CT, and Ultrasound. Patients receive focused care, transparent pricing, and same‑day appointments, with a typical volume of about two patients per hour. Responsibilities Provide high‑quality emergency care to adults, children, and first‑trimester pregnant patients (no obstetrics). Perform everyday procedures such as suturing, digital blocks, vaccinations, splinting, and wound care. Manage urgent conditions including abdominal pain, chest pain, and orthopedic injuries. Complete charts and laboratory responsibilities (callbacks/follow‑ups) daily. Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues about diagnosis, treatment plans, disposition, prices, insurance coverage basics, and the impact of additional tests or medications. Present oneself professionally in dress, language, and demeanor. Be reliable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts. Display compassion and care for patients. Utilize the white board to facilitate patient communication and deliver the “Perfect Visit.” Other duties as assigned. Schedule 12‑hour shifts: 8 am–8 pm or 10 am–10 pm. Average of three 12‑hour shifts per week. No administrative days, overnight shifts, or on‑call time. Compensation Salary Range: $168,000 – $205,000 per year DOE (36‑hour work week). Qualifications Physician Assistant: Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies with certification by the NCCPA. Family Nurse Practitioner: Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner. Minimum of 2 years full‑time emergency medicine experience (or 1 year of formal academic emergency medicine training on a case‑by‑case basis). Recent experience in an emergency setting within the last 5 years is preferred. Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification; ACLS certified. Vaccinations: COVID‑19, Hepatitis B, MMR, PPD, Varicella, TD/TDAP. Washington State medical license (or Oregon medical license for providers working in Oregon). Eligibility for Medicare provider or completion of Medicare credentialing prior to hire. Ability to demonstrate 2,000 hours of work experience at the time of job offer. Working Conditions Frequent walking, sitting, standing, and reaching overhead. Occasional crouching, kneeling, and bending. Prolonged periods of standing/sitting and computer use. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Potential to move to different clinic locations based on business needs. Patient volume may require more than scheduled hours or work outside regular business hours.
