Vision Engineer

Our client, an automotive automation and manufacturing technology company is seeking a Vision Engineer to join their team. As a Vision Engineer, you will be part of the Automation Engineering Department supporting Controls, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering teams . The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills , attention to detail , and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Vision Engineer

Location: Brookville, Ohio.

Pay Range: $45 - $51 Hr

What’s the Job?

• Design and implement machine vision systems for inspection, guidance, and quality control

• Program and configure Matrox vision systems (MIL, Design Assistant)

• Integrate vision systems with PLCs, robots, and automation equipment

• Support commissioning, debugging, and optimization of vision solutions on production lines

• Troubleshoot system performance and improve accuracy and reliability

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience

• 3+ years of machine vision experience in an industrial or automotive environment

• Hands-on experience with Matrox vision systems

• Knowledge of GM vision standards and templates

• Experience integrating vision systems with PLC-controlled automation
