Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a collaborative school-based team supporting elementary-aged students in Chino, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working in an educational setting and is passionate about helping students develop the communication skills necessary for academic and personal success.
The selected clinician will manage a caseload of approximately 40 students and work alongside another Speech-Language Pathologist on site. Candidates should have prior school-based experience and be comfortable with IEPs, assessments, and utilizing SEIS documentation systems.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
Provide direct speech-language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using SEIS.
Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success planning.
Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and professional standards of practice.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in the state of assignment.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state or contract.
Minimum 1 year of school-based experience required.
Experience with IEPs, speech assessments, and SEIS preferred.
Current CPR certification, if applicable.
TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable.
Current health certificate, if required.
Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Adherence to all relevant professional standards of practice.

Primary Disabilities Served: Speech & Language Impairment, Autism, Other Health Impairment, and Specific Learning Disorder
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:40 AM - 2:40 PM
Charting System: SEIS
Medical Support Level: Level 4
Behavioral Support Level: Low
Interview Required: Yes
Compensation
Local Candidates
Up to $75/hour
