Emergency Medicine Physician Location: Carlisle, PA Job Type: Locum Tenens

Overview: A hospital-based opportunity is available for an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide coverage in a community hospital setting. This role involves managing a broad range of emergency cases across all age groups in a collaborative environment.

Compensation:

$300/hr

Assignment Details:

Start: July 2026 Ongoing, full-time coverage needed

Schedule:

24-hour in-house shifts (7:00 AM 7:00 AM) PRN scheduling available No call required

Practice Details:

Setting: Hospital-based Emergency Department EMR: Epic Community hospital environment Support from physicians, APPs, nurses, and technicians Access to CT and imaging services

Patient Volume:

Approximately patients per day

Patient Population:

All ages

Responsibilities:

Evaluate and treat emergency department patients Manage a wide variety of acute conditions Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams Provide timely and effective emergency care

Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or Internal Medicine Required Active Pennsylvania License or IMLC Required DEA Required Minimum 1 year of experience Required ABEM certification Preferred

Credentialing:

Estimated timeframe: 90 days (temporary privileges available with clean file)
