Account Manager

Electrical Apparatus Manufacturing and Services Company is seeking an experienced Account Manager to help build out and maintain their Substation, M/V Switchgear, Transformer, and AC/DC Motor products and services. This person will manage the regional and/or target customer accounts primarily for the purpose of building and maintaining an on-going business relationship that is mutually beneficial to both the customer and to the company, covering the Southeast Region (Florida, Georgia, Alabama). Primary Responsibilities include:

• Travel to customer sites to visit customers, build good business relationships, and to generally promote all products and services offered by the company.
• Solicit business opportunities that fit the strategic goals and objectives as defined by Company management.
• Review customer specifications to determine whether certain business opportunities are within our capabilities.
• Review and or create proposals and quotations for products and services according to pricing policies established by Company management.
• Identify market potential and orders potential within an assigned region or market.
• Prospect potential customer base to build awareness of Company offers and build opportunity funnel.

Education and Experience: Four year degree from accredited institution or equivalent experience. A technical degree is highly desirable. 5 + years relevant experience in sales.
