Together, you and your team will enable our customers to do all the things they love with their devices.DescriptionAs a NAND ATE Test Engineer you will lead and support the testing, failure analysis and qualification of various programs using SSD (solid-state drive). A strong candidate will have experience with NAND validation, and reliability testing. You will be part of a world class team of HW Engineers who identify and resolve potential risks for all aspects of NAND qualification and testing, including generating test programs and scripts. You will have direct impact on Apple's future products by ensuring world-class solutions to demanding test and engineering challengesMinimum QualificationsBS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fieldExperience with memory automated test equipment (ATE), including Advantest, Teradyne, or equivalent platformsExperience in C/C++ and scripting languages such as Python, Lua, MATLAB, or similar toolsPreferred Qualifications3+ years of relevant experienceExperience with memory systems, preferably NANDExperience in coding scripts necessary to enable ATE test solutionsUnderstanding of Electronic Engineering fundamentalsAbility to work with test equipment (i.e., oscilloscope, logic analyzer)Experience with failure analysis and troubleshootingExperience with embedded system integration and developmentCoding experience and understanding of SW FTLExperience with PCIe, SSD controllers and firmwarePay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $144,600 and $263,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
