Route Driver - Class A or B CDL

Our Newport, RI depot is looking for our next route driving rockstar. Our commercial truck drivers have a schedule that consists of 4 10-hour shifts throughout the week. The start time can be anywhere between 3 am and 6 am. This is a local route, so you'll be able to be home every night. Our drivers have a starting hourly rate between $32-34 per hour. Drivers are paid weekly, direct deposit on Fridays. $1,000 Sign on Bonus This position qualifies for a sign on bonus of $1,000. The sign on bonus will be paid out in two equal installments: first payment of $500 after 6 months of employment and second payment of $500 after one year of employment. Paid Holiday, Birthday and Personal time 401k retirement plan with 100% company match up to 4% after 90 days What you’ll do Provide excellent customer service and relay any customer concerns to your manager in a timely fashion. Handle 2" to 3" hoses pumping out grease trap materials onto truck Clean area around tanks Operate box truck or pick up and drop off containers as needed Stay current on all Mahoney Safety trainings Maintain a good driving record within Mahoney acceptable standards. Perform other duties as assigned What you need A valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License. Minimum 3 years of CDL driving experience with your CDL Air Brake and Tanker Endorsement (or willingness to get Tanker Endorsement prior to your start date) Good driving record.
