Program Specialist
$28 per hourAre you a highly organized, service-oriented operational talent ready to support impactful initiatives within a premier global scientific association? Our client in Washington, DC is seeking a dedicated Program Specialist to manage critical day-to-day operations across educational, grant, and professional development portfolios. In this role, you will act as a key liaison for members, faculty, and international partners while executing seamless logistical and administrative workflows. You will oversee participant screening, process grant documentation, maintain web content, and ensure operational compliance in a fast-paced environment. The position requires on-site availability in Washington, DC and is Monday-Thursday (30 hour work week). Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree/non-degree equivalent paired with 5–6+ years of great coordination, data, and financial tracking expertise. salary: $28 - $29 per hour

- Serve as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, members, volunteers, and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate logistics, participant travel, and operational details for programs, conferences, and events.
- Manage grant programs, including partner alignment with global chapters, documentation, financial processing, and compliance reporting.
- Execute program application, screening, selection, and participant notification procedures.
- Update and maintain accurate data across internal systems, databases, and program web pages.
