Job Details

We are seeking an Associate Attorney with at least 1 year of experience with motor vehicle accident cases.

This unique opportunity offers a chance to work on a variety of motor vehicle accident cases. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter ready to build a strong foundation in litigation.

Responsibilities:

1. Represent clients in a range of cases, with a focus motor vehicle accidents (auto, trucking, boat, etc.)
2. Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
3. Negotiate settlements for legal disputes, including mediations and arbitrations when necessary.
4. Comply with all legal standards and regulations, ensuring the utmost professionalism and ethical conduct at all times.
5. Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law, including case management, billing, and client communication.
6. Conduct thorough case investigations to determine the cause of the accident, assess liability, and estimate damage costs.
7. Collaborate with a team of paralegals, legal assistants, and other associate attorneys to ensure effective and efficient case handling.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the Texas bar and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 1 years of experience in personal injury law, specifically in handling motor vehicle accidents.
4. Proven track record of successful case settlements and verdicts.
5. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of clients.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and make sound decisions.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal information in a clear and persuasive manner.
8. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. High degree of professional ethics and integrity, with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality at all times.
